Biographie
Diane Daubert is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the University of Washington Department of Periodontics. She received her dental hygiene education, Masters of Science in Oral Biology, and PhD in Oral Biology from the University or Washington. Diane has been a member of the Periodontics Department for 30 years. Her teaching responsibilities include all stages of the dental education, from Early Clinical Immersion for the first year dental students to Advanced Instrumentation to the post-doctoral periodontal residents. Her research interests involve translational and clinical studies on peri-implantitis including prevalence, relative risks, microbial communities, and epigenetics. Diane has published on the topics of glycine powder air polishing, peri-implant disease prevalence, implant titanium corrosion, and microbiology of peri-implant disease. She has also collaborated with the American College of Prosthodontists to develop guidelines for maintenance of complex tooth and implant-borne restorations. Diane has lectured nationally and internationally on periodontics updates, peri-implant prevalence and etiology, and on changes in the field of dentistry.
